Winter Refresh Palette
Six Half Pans winter colors
Dove - A soft, cool gray touched with the faintest whisper of winter brown. Dove settles gently on the page like fresh snow beneath a quiet sky, perfect for creating peaceful shadows, subtle neutrals, and serene winter scenes.
Lime - A crisp, frosted green with a cool winter bite. Lime brightens the palette with its icy citrus energy—fresh, zesty, and perfect for adding lively accents that brighten winter compositions.
Cinnabar - A deep, winter-soft red infused with cool undertones. Cinnabar feels like the glow of embers through frosty air—rich yet muted, creating dramatic shadows and elegant seasonal accents.
Mint - A delicate pastel green touched by winter’s chill. Mint washes out into soft, airy layers like fresh pine needles dusted with snow—clean, calm, and refreshing.
Winter Refresh - A rejuvenating blue-cool blend that feels like stepping into crisp mountain air. Winter Refresh is vibrant yet soothing, perfect for painting icy waters or modern holiday palettes with a cool twist.
Snowbound - A serene, cool white with just a hint of purple—like untouched snow under a cloudy winter sky. Snowbound offers subtle depth in its pale shadows, perfect for highlights, glazes, and soft seasonal atmospheres.
Handcrafted, artisan watercolors made according to the traditional recipe of professional watercolor paints. They contain pure pigment, gum arabic, glycerine, water and synthetic ox gall. No other unnecessary additives or fillers are added. I want to provide you with watercolors that contain as much pure pigment as possible!
All paint is hand mulled on a slab and hand poured in different layers (between 3 and 4 layers) into quarter or half pans. Cracks and bubbles are possible to occur, since they are handmade, but these do not affect the quality or the usability of the paint. Should the paint fall out of the pan just rewet the underside with a small dot of water and re-insert into the pan and let dry. For the best granulating results, use a rough or textured paper.
My paints all come in small metal pans because I enjoy the use of larger flat brushes. The half pans are approximately 1” x 1” . They have approx. the same size as commercial watercolor half pans.
