Six Half Pans winter holiday colors

Evergreen - A beautiful, woodland green inspired by towering conifers. Evergreen carries cool undertones and a natural richness, creating shadows, foliage, and earth-rooted textures with ease.

Golden - A warm, luminous yellow that glows like late-afternoon sunlight. Golden brushes on with a natural radiance, perfect for highlights, warm washes, and capturing the warmth of candlelight or autumn leaves. Transparent when thinned, bold and honey-rich when layered.

Pinecone - An earthy, muted brown with subtle granulation that mimics the texture of pine bark and woodland soil. Pinecone is grounding and versatile—ideal for natural subjects, shadow work, and layering warm neutrals. Washes beautifully from soft taupe to deep, bark-like brown.

Fire Engine - A vivid, energetic red that commands attention. Fire Engine delivers strong saturation and clean, modern intensity without leaning too orange or too blue. Use it for bold accents, florals, and lively contrasts—anywhere you need a bright spark of color.

Winter Blue - A cool, serene blue reminiscent of quiet winter mornings. Winter Blue creates delicate, icy washes and crisp shadows, shifting from pale frost at light dilution to a deep, tranquil dusk blue when built in layers.

Snow Shadow - A soft, ethereal blue-white designed to capture the subtle hues found in shaded snow. Snow Shadow offers a gentle muted coolness, perfect for atmospheric landscapes, soft shadows, and delicate winter light.

Handcrafted, artisan watercolors made according to the traditional recipe of professional watercolor paints. They contain pure pigment, gum arabic, glycerine, water and synthetic ox gall. No other unnecessary additives or fillers are added. I want to provide you with watercolors that contain as much pure pigment as possible!

All paint is hand mulled on a slab and hand poured in different layers (between 3 and 4 layers) into quarter or half pans. Cracks and bubbles are possible to occur, since they are handmade, but these do not affect the quality or the usability of the paint. Should the paint fall out of the pan just rewet the underside with a small dot of water and re-insert into the pan and let dry. For the best granulating results, use a rough or textured paper.

My paints all come in small metal pans because I enjoy the use of larger flat brushes. The half pans are approximately 1” x 1” . They have approx. the same size as commercial watercolor half pans.
